What you will see
San José – the capital of Costa Rica
The capital and largest city of Costa Rica. In the mid-19th century, San Jose transformed from a modest and quiet town into a truly vibrant city. This is where the airport is located, which we arrive at and depart from. The first day is for arrivals, checking into the hotel, and organizational matters. On the second day, we set off on our trip from San Jose. We will visit the city, its attractions, and historical sites on the last day.
Uvita
Uvita Beach is a magnificent natural wonder, shaped like a whale's tail. It is located within the Marino Balleno National Park. You can walk here for hours. There are many attractions in the area, including diving, horseback riding, visiting nature reserves, hiking to waterfalls, surfing, whale watching, and bird watching. Playa Uvita is still one of the most beautiful places to watch the sunset in Costa Rica.
Pureto Jimenez
And its surroundings abound in many amazing attractions. Corcovado National Park in Costa Rica is a must-see destination for nature lovers and adventure seekers. With its rich fauna and secluded beaches, it is a true paradise for those seeking unforgettable experiences in the bosom of nature. The park is home to over 500 species of trees, 140 species of mammals, over 400 species of birds, and over 100 species of amphibians and reptiles. The park is also home to many endangered animals, such as jaguars, pumas, tapirs, and squirrel monkeys.
Drake Bay
This is a small, beautiful bay on the Pacific coast of Costa Rica. It has a lot to offer, both on land and underwater. In this underwater paradise, you will have the opportunity to encounter octopuses, stingrays, sea turtles, and a variety of colorful fish.
Accommodation under palm trees
There will be plenty of opportunities to sleep on wild beaches. We will choose charming places that will remain in your memory forever. We will wake up to the sound of the ocean, the sea, and rivers. Getting to these places will be quite an attraction 🙂
Chiriqui / Baru Volcano
The highest volcano in Panama, we will drive up it by car. We plan to leave at 4:00 a.m. so that we can enjoy the most beautiful sunrise on the itinerary at 6:00 a.m.
Boquete
It lies in a valley near the border with Costa Rica, in the province of Chiriquí in Panama. This cozy town is called the “Valley of Flowers.” It lies next to the dormant Barú volcano, which forms an impressive backdrop and colors the area with crops, orchards, and coffee plantations. The winding roads snaking through the valley offer spectacular panoramic views of the region's lush greenery. The province of Chiriquí is a land of abundance, known as the breadbasket of Panama, producing about 80% of the country's products. It is also worth mentioning that it is a paradise for retirees. Life is inexpensive, the weather is stable throughout the year, and the climate is spring-like. On rainy days, you can see many rainbows at the same time. An off-road vehicle can take you to the summit of the Barú volcano. The summit of this volcano is the only place in the world where you can see two oceans from the same spot. We are going to see it.
Bocas del Toro
This is a paradise archipelago on the Caribbean coast of Panama. It is the perfect place to spend a few days relaxing, surfing, diving, and enjoying colorful cocktails. The islands are characterized by a great diversity of nature. The archipelago consists of over 200 islands, only a few of which are inhabited. There is so much to do and see here that many travelers stay much longer than they planned. We will be here for two days.
Zapatilla Island
A trip to the paradise uninhabited islands of Zapatilla will be a change from driving an off-road vehicle. Here, we will experience pure excitement. On Sloth Island, you can encounter sloths. Then we will go to Dolphin Bay, where we will be able to see dolphins from a boat and snorkel in a beautiful place full of colorful corals. We will spend two days on the islands, where everyone will find something for themselves.
The Bri Bri Indians
The Bribri Indians are the indigenous inhabitants of the Talamanca region, living in the mountains and Caribbean coastal areas of Costa Rica and northern Panama. They grow cocoa, bananas, and plantains. It is in a Bribri Indian village that we will have the opportunity to see the cocoa roasting process, followed by a tasting.
Puerto Viejo de Talamanca
This seaside town with a Caribbean vibe is located in the southeastern part of Costa Rica. It is one of those fantastic places where you end up staying longer than you intended. This is where we will set off for the Cahuita Nature Reserve.
Cahuita
Cahuita National Park is one of the most beautiful national parks in Costa Rica. The park has a hiking trail with beautiful jungle on one side and the sea with many white sand beaches on the other. Here, you can relax on the beach and observe wildlife.
